Job summary

Grace Medical Center in Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department to provide direct clinical patient care under the unit manager.

You will assess, plan, and implement age-appropriate care per shift, supervise staff, and support the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe nursing practice and efficient resource management.

Qualifications

• Nurses must have active RN licensure in Maryland or eligibility.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience within the last 4 years.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver care.

Summary

Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises plan of care based on physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs of the patient/family.


• Assesses patient for changes that may hinder recovery.


• Collaborates with staff, physicians, and other disciplines to provide quality care delivery.


• Maintains clinical knowledge and skills competency to facilitate patient care in accordance with current standards of practice.


• Provides for a safe patient care environment.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years Nursing Experience specific to Emergency Room within the past 4 years.

Education

• Nursing Degree

Licensures & Certifications

• Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license


• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association required


• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire

Pay Range

$50.00 to $52.50
