University Hospitals’ UH Cleveland Medical Center ED (Level 1 Trauma Center) is seeking a New Grad RN for the Emergency Department. The role offers a Nurse Residency Program, teaching hospital culture, and opportunities to work in a Magnet-recognized setting.

The ED features 45 beds with 4 trauma bays; new graduates can expect structured orientation, education-focused culture, and comprehensive support to transition to practice in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
• Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position; licensure must be obtained if selected
• Current BLS Provider Certification (American Heart Association) must be obtained during Nursing Orientation
• Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer
• BSN preferred for some openings
• Prior experience on a related unit or practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
