Job summary

Miami Valley Hospital North in Dayton, OH seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. The RN delivers direct patient care, uses the nursing process, and collaborates with the inter-professional team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

BSN preferred; Ohio RN license and BLS required; minimum 1 year acute care; ED experience preferred. Must multitask, stay organized, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Valid Ohio RN license.
• Current AHA BLS certification at time of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience.
• Emergency Dept experience preferred.
• Must multitask with interruptions; maintain pleasant demeanor.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
