Texas Health Resources, Inc. seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Texas Health Alliance Fort Worth.

You will provide patient-centered care during mid shifts (3p-3a) across a high-volume ED with advanced technology and a level III trauma designation. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain safety standards, and participate in ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Formación

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• RN license and CLIAFE compliance for foreign education equivalency.
• BCLS required prior to independent care; ACLS within 90 days.
• ENPC, TNCC, PALS within specified post-hire windows.
• 1 year RN experience or RN residency; 2-3 years ER experience preferred.

Work location: Texas Health Alliance -10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244 Work hours: Full Time - Mid Shift- 3p - 3a - 36 Hours/ Week - 3/12 hour shifts a week

Here’s What You Need

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
• CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)
• RN - Current Registered Nurse required
• Upon Hire BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire
• ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire required
• TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of hire required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire
• 1-year of Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
• 2-3 years ER experience preferred.

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

• Assesses the patient
• Plans the care of the patient
• Intervenes as appropriate
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
