Texas Health Alliance is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. The role involves day shift scheduling, 30 hours per week, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to manage patients with critical injuries or illnesses.

Requirements include RN licensure, anAssociate Degree or nursing diploma, and BCLS/ACLS with additional certifications (ENPC, TNCC, PALS) pursued within defined timelines.

Formación

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• RN - Current Registered Nurse required Upon Hire.
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire.
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire.
• ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire required.
• TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of hire required.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire.
• 1-year of Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
• 2-3 years ER experience preferred.

Work hours: Full Time - Day Shift- 9a - 7p - 30 Hours/ Week - 3/10 hour shifts a week

Here’s What You Need

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
• CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)

• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
