Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department Resource Team on the Night shift. You will support patient care across the network, with premium pay and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K plan.

This role requires strong collaboration with diverse clinical teams and a focus on patient safety. Two 12-hour night shifts per week, 0.6 FTE, and weekend rotation duties are included.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Indiana.
• 5+ years of acute care nursing experience with 2 years in ED.
• Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ED across the Network.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective care.
• Contribute to patient flow and ED operations while upholding standards.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Demonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health Network; demonstration of skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources.

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.


• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).


• Minimum of five years (5) of acute care nursing experience with two years (2) of recent ED RN experience required. No exceptions.Certification preferred.


• Excellent communication skills.

• EPIC experience is a plus.
