Job summary

The RN will supervise other RNs, LPNs, and Nurse Techs, ensuring high-quality patient care in accordance with the state practice act and hospital policies. Requires Alabama RN license and CPR certification.

• Qualifications as designated in Nursing Clinical Ladder Policy
• NOTE: ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, Float Pool (Critical Care and Maternity), SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.
• NOTE: NRP within 6 months of hire into Nursery and L&D.
• NOTE: PALS within one year of hire in PACU
• NOTE: BLS within 30 days
