The Registered Nurse at Tanner-Health-1 in Alabama administers nursing care, assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates outcomes while supervising RNs, LPNs, and Nurse Techs.
The role requires Alabama RN license or multi-state license, CPR, ACLS within 6 months of hire in specific units, NRP within 6 months, and PALS within one year, with at least six months related experience.
The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.

HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)
Supervises and directs work of other RNs, LPNs, and Nurse Techs as appropriate.

NOTE: ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, Float Pool (Critical Care and Maternity), SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.
NOTE: NRP within 6 months of hire into Nursery and L&D.
NOTE: PALS within one year of hire in PACU
NOTE: BLS within 30 days
