Job summary

Atrium Health Lake Norman is hiring an experienced registered nurse for our Emergency Department. The RN will coordinate comprehensive patient care, following evidence-based practice and established standards, policies, and procedures.

You will work to ensure patient safety and satisfaction, utilizing clinical decision-making, compassion, and effective communication while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.

The Emergency Department is a 10-bed,monitoredunit within a newly opened community hospital in Cornelius, NC, serving a diverse patient population with a wide range ofacuity. Our team is highly collaborative, working closely with physicians across multiple specialties and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. ExpectationsWe’reLooking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
