Sentara Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Electrophysiology Lab (EP) at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA. This full-time, day-shift role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and Monday–Friday with four 10-hour shifts (7:00 am–5:30 pm). No on-call requirement.

The RN provides competent nursing care, using the nursing process, and collaborates with the EP team to promote safe, evidence-based care and patient education.

Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Electrophysiology Lab (EP) at Sentara Careplex Hospital located in Hampton, Virginia. This is a full time, day shift position. $15,000 Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates! Hours Monday – Friday: 4/ten-hour shifts from 7am-5:30pm Day off will vary per week - No Call Overview The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. • Minimum of ASN or RN Diploma (Required)
• BSN or MSN (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

• RN licensure (Required)
• BLS within 90 days of hire
• ACLS within 1 year

Experience

• 1 year of RN experience (Required)
• Strongly prefer previous EP or Cath Lab experience (Preferred)
