Job summary

Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, CA seeks a Registered Nurse in the Electro Physiology Lab to support patients undergoing EP procedures. You will monitor rhythms, assist with studies and device procedures, and work with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements include a BSN, California RN license, BLS & ACLS, and at least 1 year of acute care EP/ED/ICU RN experience or completion of Eisenhower's Nurse Residency.

• Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures and collaborate with patients, families, physicians, electrophysiologists, and other members of the health care team.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient responses before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, hemodynamic status, and sedation; administer medications; assist with EP studies, cardiac ablations, cardioversions, and device procedures; maintain patient safety and professional standards.

Located in Southern California, Eisenhower Health is a not-for-profit hospital seeking a Registered Nurse (RN)-Electro Physiology Lab.

Job Objective:

• Provides direct patient care to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures and collaborates with patients, families, physicians, electrophysiologists, and other members of the health care team. Assesses patient needs, develops and implements individualized plans of care, and evaluates patient responses before, during, and after procedures. Monitors cardiac rhythms, vital signs, hemodynamic status, and sedation; administers medications; assists with EP studies, cardiac ablations, cardioversions, and device procedures; and recognizes and responds to changes in patient condition. Maintains patient safety, sterile technique, and professional standards while demonstrating clinical judgment, accountability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality patient care.

Registered Nurse-Electro Physiology Lab must meet the following qualifications:

Education:

• Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure/Certification:

• Required: California RN License, Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Experience:

• Required: One (1) year of acute care Electro Physiology Lab, ED or ICU RN experience or the successful completion of Eisenhower's Nurse Residency Program

*A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time RN positions. Part-time RN roles are eligible for a prorated bonus. The bonus is paid in installments of $2,500 with the first paycheck, $2,500 at one year, and $5,000 at two years.
