Job summary

Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab to provide comprehensive nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Located in Southern California, Eisenhower Health is a not-for-profit hospital seeking a Registered Nurse-Cardiac Cath Lab.

Job Objective:

Experienced Registered Nurse seeking a position in the Cardiac Cath Lab, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Responsible for performing pre-procedure assessments, reviewing medical history and laboratory results, preparing patients and equipment, establishing and maintaining IV access, administering medications, and providing patient education. Skilled in monitoring vital signs, cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and patient response throughout procedures, assisting with moderate sedation, maintaining sterile technique, and recognizing and responding promptly to changes in patient condition. Experienced in supporting cardiologists during procedures, managing emergency situations, providing post procedure recovery care, monitoring for complications, and ensuring safe transitions to the next level of care. Committed to delivering safe, efficient, compassionate patient care while working collaboratively with physicians and the multidisciplinary health care team.

Registered Nurse-Cardiac Cath Lab must meet the following qualifications:

Education:

• Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure/Certification:

• Required: California RN License, Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Experience:

• Required: One (1) year of acute care Cath lab or ICU RN experience or the successful completion of Eisenhower’s Nurse Residency Program

*A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time RN positions. Part-time RN roles are eligible for a prorated bonus. The bonus is paid in installments of $2,500 with the first paycheck, $2,500 at one year, and $5,000 at two years.
