Job summary

Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Educator to develop and evaluate educational and development programs across the hospital. You will collaborate with departments to assess learning needs and deliver targeted training to improve patient care.

Responsibilities include implementing simulation-based training and shaping nursing education, with a focus on enhancing patient outcomes and staff competency within Lifepoint Health facilities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of RN experience required; 5 years preferred.
• Educational/Teaching experience with focus on simulation-based training.
• Current RN license in state and active BLS; ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.

Department/Unit Summary

The Nurse Educator works within the Education Department and collaborates with Medical Center Departments to assess, implement and evaluate educational and development programs for MMC independently and collaboratively. The Nurse Educator provides services to patients throughout the life span.

Qualifications and requirements

• Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• 3 years of RN experience required. 5 years of RN experience preferred.
• Educational/Teaching experience required with focus on simulation based training.
