PAM Health is hiring a Lead Dialysis Registered Nurse to oversee dialysis treatments and lead the dialysis team. You will deliver and supervise patient care, coordinate discharge planning, and educate patients and families about post-hospitalization care.

The role requires an active RN license in the applying state, current BLS, and ACLS certification (preferred initially and required after 90 days). Opportunity for growth within PAM Health across locations.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required). Lead Dialysis Nurses are responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.

Qualifications

• RN Licensein the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.Let us help you get your ACLS!
• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
• Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required.
