PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Heritage Valley is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to deliver and coordinate patient care in the dialysis unit. You will supervise care under nursing leadership and contribute to interdisciplinary planning while supporting post-hospitalization education for patients and families.

The role requires an active RN license in Pennsylvania, current BLS, and ACLS certification (ACLS preferred now and required after 90 days; ACLS from day 1 for higher‑acuity roles).

Qualifikationen

• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.
• ACLS is required from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
• Certification through the NNCC is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Dialysis Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post‑hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required). Dialysis Nurses are responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.

• Current BLS certification

• Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required.
