Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our behavioral health and substance use disorder units. The role supports adolescents and adults with comprehensive nursing care, crisis response, and collaborative care planning.

This full-time RN position offers a 3-shift schedule, weekend rotation, and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 with a two-year commitment; part-time and PRN options are also available with some benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid PA nursing license or eligible for renewal.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care on a designated unit.
• Prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care.
• Completes nursing assessments and documents progress each shift.
• Facilitates medication administration per safe practices and patient education.
• Responds to crisis/emergency events to ensure patient safety.
• Attends Treatment Team to aid in patient care plans.
• Oversees and directs mental health technicians in patient care activities.
• Accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and supports Nurse Manager or DON.
• May assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as required.

There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

This position also qualifies for up to a $20,000.00 sign-on bonus for a 2 year commitment!

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. • The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.
• The Registered Nurse prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care
• The Registered Nurse completes nursing assessments and documents care and progress of the patient each shift
• The Registered Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education
• The Registered Nurse responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety
• Attends Treatment Team to aid in the development of patient care plans
• Oversees and directs the mental health technicians in patient care activities
• The Registered Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.
• The Registered Nurse may also assume Charge Nurse Responsibilities as required.
