Job summary

Regency Hospital in Sylvania, OH seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day shifts (7:00am–7:30pm, 12-hour shifts). Compensation ranges from $38.90 to $52.37 per hour with weekend differentials and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

The RN will participate in admissions/transfers, perform thorough patient assessments, document meticulously, interpret labs/telemetry, and ensure orders are transcribed accurately. ACLS required within 6 months; BLS at hire.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid State RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Document timely and accurately using the designated systems.
• Interpret assessment data and labs, including telemetry.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately.
• Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
