Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – Savannah is a critical illness recovery hospital delivering world-class inpatient post-ICU care for chronically ill patients. The RN will play a central role in providing compassionate, high-quality treatment throughout patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpretation of assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Respond to rapid responses and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
