Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a Day Surgery Recovery Room Registered Nurse for day shift, PRN, to provide direct patient care and lead clinical staff.

Requires an Associate degree in nursing, NJ RN license, 1+ year of RN experience, BLS within 14 days, ACLS within 3 months, and ability to perform IV therapy, blood collection, POCT, and EKG. Bachelor's degree preferred. Competitive pay based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an RN in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center.
• Active and current NJ State professional RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment).
• Ability to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing, and perform EKG (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment).
• Fluency in English to function in the job environment appropriately.
