Job summary

MED-STAT HEALTH CARE INC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in the CVOR. The role involves managing care plans, meticulous documentation, and close collaboration with the OR team to support orthopedics and general cases.

Day shifts are 7:00–17:30 with on-call responsibilities and 37.5 hours weekly. The ideal candidate has a valid RN license in the state of employment, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to observe and communicate in patients’ best

Qualifications

• Currently licensed RN in the United States
• 13-week OR CVOR travel assignment in a hospital setting
• Must have strong observation, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Document changes in patient condition and communicate with supervisors
• Maintain accurate patient care records and coordinate with the OR team

Operating Room - CVOR 13-week travel contract Day 4x9.5-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) In this role, you will primarily be creating and managing a plan of care for individual patients. You are a Registered Nurse (RN) who operates with great attention to detail and a big heart. You take pride in creating personalized care plans for patients and are able to observe and communicate effectively in your patient's best interest. To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as a strong penchant for solving problems.

BLS Required...
2.5+ Years of OR experience required...

Types of Cases/Experience Required: Valve replacement, coronary artery bypass, TAVR, Dissection, transplant, VATs...Main OR: Strong experience in General and Ortho,
Standard cardiac (Cabg, AVR, MVR), TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, Heart transplant, Lung transplant, VATs, VADs
Transplant experience (at least heart transplant), Standard Endovascular (TCAR, TEVAR, fistulogram)...
Must have, Endovascular, vascular experience (i.e. Endovascular AAA, carotid endarterectomy, arteriogram, angiogram, trans carotid artery revascularization (TCAR), AV fistula, Fem,-Pop bypass)....
Charting System: EPIC/OR Manager (PICIS)...

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
• Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with the supervisor

Qualifications

• Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of employment
• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
• Valid driver's license
• First aid/CPR certification required
