Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking an experienced CVICU RN for the 24-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, specializing in post-cardiac/vascular surgery, transplants, and advanced heart failure. Night shifts (3x12s, 7pm–7am) with orientation to D/N rotation and a sign-on/relocation bonus.

BSN required, 1 year CCU/ICU experience, BLS/ACLS, and Virginia RN licensure. Inova offers strong benefits and career development within a leading regional cardiac center.

We are seeking an experienced CVICU RN at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.
Shift: Nights (3x 12-hour shifts 7p-7a). Must be able to orient D/N rotation.

The CVICU is a 24-bed, high-acuity unit located in Falls Church, VA, specializing in the care of patients post-cardiac and vascular surgery, heart and lung transplant, advanced heart failure, and other complex diagnoses requiring intensive monitoring and life-saving interventions. CVICU RN Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Certifications: BLS for healthcare provider certification from AHA required. ACLS (must obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years CVICU RN experience.
• CCRN certification
• Proficient in Advanced Therapy Modalities (e.g., IABP, Impella, CRRT, TTM, ECMO)
