We are seeking an experienced ICU RN for the CVICU at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.

Shift

Day/Night rotation (3 x 12‑hour shifts).

The CVICU is a 24‑bed, high‑acuity unit located in Falls Church, VA, specializing in the care of patients post‑cardiac and vascular surgery, heart and lung transplant, advanced heart failure, and other complex diagnoses requiring intensive monitoring and life‑saving interventions. CVICU RN Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date
• Certifications: BLS for healthcare provider certification from AHA required; ACLS (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN

CVICU RN Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years ICU RN experience (CVICU or Cardiac ICU highly desired)
• Unit involvement (committees, charge RN, precepting)
