Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, VA, seeks an experienced ICU nurse for the CVICU. The 24-bed unit cares for post-cardiac and vascular surgery patients with a day/night 12-hour shift rotation. A sign-on bonus and relocation bonus are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced ICU RN for the CVICU at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.
Shift: Day/Night rotation (3x 12-hour shifts).

The CVICU is a 24-bed, high-acuity unit located in Falls Church, VA, specializing in the care of patients post-cardiac and vascular surgery, heart and lung transplant, advanced heart failure, and other complex diagnoses requiring intensive monitoring and life-saving interventions. CVICU RN Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Certifications: BLS for healthcare provider certification from AHA required. ACLS (must obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN

CVICU RN Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years ICU RN experience (CVICU or Cardiac ICU highly desired)
