Job summary

The Lifepoint Health network’s Highpoint Health Sumner in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the CCU/ICU team. This full-time night-shift position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and the chance to deliver high-acuity care in a collaborative environment.

You will provide direct patient care in the ICU using the nursing process, escalate as needed, and contribute to patient safety and documentation while reporting to the department's director or manager.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN license in state of practice required.
• BLS is required; ACLS and PALS are preferred.

How You'll Contribute

Provides direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Essential Functions Additional Information

Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.

Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.

Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Qualification And Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice.
