Job summary

Five Star Nursing is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver direct nursing care to residents with developmental and physical disabilities. You will perform clinical assessments, document seizure activity, and administer medications in a supportive, patient‑centered environment.

Join our team for flexible shifts (days/evenings/nights/weekends), on‑call support, and benefits including medical, dental, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical/vocational nursing program.
• Current RN license in the Commonwealth of PA.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents with developmental and physical disabilities.
• Complete clinical assessments and document findings.
• Record seizure activity as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effects.

You will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to persons with developmental and physical disabilities. You will complete clinical assessments, record seizure activity as needed, and administer medications.

RN/Registered Nurse Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited practical/vocational nursing program.
• Current license as an RN in the Commonwealth of PA
• One year of experience as an RN preferred.
• Genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.
• A current and valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation may be required
• CPR/BLS Certified
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong patient assessment skills and demonstrated clinical competency.
