Job summary

FutureCare in Baltimore seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality resident care on a dedicated unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with the care team, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Eligible candidates have an active Maryland RN license and CPR certification, with 1 year of nursing experience preferred, especially in acute or long-term care settings. Weekend differential pay and a robust benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in acute or long-term care facility a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice meets State and Federal guidelines.
• Review referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems as documented in nurse plans.
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily nursing care to ensure care plans are met.
• Implement physician’s orders and nursing interventions as needed for resident care.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expanded responsibilities to maintain competency.
• Set and implement goals and policies aligned with FutureCare’s nursing facility philosophy.
