Job description

UC Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at UC Medical Center. This is a 7a-5:30p FLEX position.

The OR comprises a 60/40 mix of registered nurses and surgical technicians. The nurse’s primary role is as a circulator, but they also serve as a scrub person. UCMC is a level 1 trauma center with a 25-room OR, including a trauma room open 24/7, a cysto suite, a hybrid room for endoscopic hearts, and a cath lab/OR for endovascular procedures. The remaining rooms handle high-acuity surgeries across various specialties such as Neurosurgery, Eyes, Ears, Oral, Spine, Orthopedic, Burns, Plastic, Podiatry, Transplant, Vascular, GU, Robotics, General Surgery, Thoracic, Pulmonary, Laparoscopic, and Gynecology.
