Job summary

Memorial Hospital in Conway, NH, part of MaineHealth, is seeking a Registered Nurse - Clinical Educator to lead clinical and non-clinical education across departments.

You will develop, coordinate, and implement continuing education and in-service programs, fostering professional growth and improved patient care.

This role requires BSN, RN license, BLS, and at least two years of clinical experience with teaching experience preferred; Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN required.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Current state RN license; BLS certification required within 30 days.
  • Minimum two years of clinical care with teaching/didactic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and coordinates continuing education for clinical departments.
  • Implements in-service education across hospital units.
  • Contributes to clinical education strategy and program delivery.

Summary

The Registered Nurse - Clinical Educator role is responsible for the implementation of clinical and non-clinical education in the hospital. Develops, coordinates, and implements continuing education and in-service education for all clinical departments.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing/BSN required. Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: Demonstrated clinical expertise in direct patient care as normally acquired through a minimum of two years clinical experience and meets all the care delivery expectations of the expert clinical nurse within their clinical setting required. Experience in classroom instruction and/or clinical teaching associated with specialty specific setting preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Knowledge of educational development and design preferred.

The pay range for this position is $40.06to $54.20 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
