Job Overview

The Clinical Coordinator, under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and/or Director, is responsible for supervising and promoting quality patient care. This role involves assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing care using evidence-based practices, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The coordinator also assists in the efficient operation of the unit, participates in professional development, and practices according to Virginia state regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Virginia nursing license or eligibility via Nursing Compact
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an acute care setting
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Specialty certification preferred (e.g., ACLS, NRP)
