Rolling Hills Hospital in Franklin, TN is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our behavioral health team. The RN provides direct patient care, medical management, and crisis interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include care coordination, staff training, and documenting patient progress in the master treatment plan. Full-time day shifts 7 AM–7 PM with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in Tennessee required.
• 1 year inpatient psychiatric experience preferred; behavioral health experience preferred.
• CPR certification provided or maintained.
• Handle with Care certification provided or maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Manage medical assessments and crisis interventions for patients.
• Assign tasks and supervise subordinate staff; monitor duties.
• Train and educate staff, patients, and families; document care in the master treatment plan.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Provides medical management and assessment of patients; ensures environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population; directs the implementation of behavior management programs and ensures consistent carry-through. Is responsible for making the patient and task assignments to subordinates and monitors their duties. The Registered Nurse provides training and education to staff, patients, families; documents patient care and ensures data is accurate and included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates. Works with the treatment team to provide consistently therapeutic milieu.

Shift Differential Rates: $4/hr nights, $3/hr weekend days, $7/hr weekend nights
