Job summary

Rolling Hills Hospital is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing behavioral health team. The RN provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team, conducts medical management and assessment, and ensures safety and crisis management for the patient population.

You will train staff, document care, and update the master treatment plan with timely nursing care plan updates.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • Valid RN license in Tennessee required
  • Nursing experience in the behavioral health field preferred
  • One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred
  • CPR certification (training provided)
  • Handle with Care (HWC) certification (training provided)

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
  • Provides medical management and assessment of patients; ensures environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population.
  • Directs the implementation of behavior management programs and ensures consistent carry-through.
  • Responsible for making patient and task assignments to subordinates and monitoring their duties.
  • Provides training and education to staff, patients, families; documents patient care and updates the master treatment plan.
  • Works with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.

Available Shift - Full-time, Days, 7 AM to 7 PM

Shift Differential Rates: $4/hr nights, $3/hr weekend days, $7/hr weekend nights
