Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide nursing leadership for a specific shift and unit/area.
  2. Utilize specialized care plans and serve as a patient-care innovator.
  3. Shape exceptional patient journeys daily, leveraging skills and technology.
  4. Supervise and mentor nursing/support staff during assigned shift.
  5. Determine staffing levels based on census, patient acuity, and staff abilities.
  6. Provide direct patient care as needed.
  7. Evaluate patient care effectiveness and address issues.
  8. Respond to complaints and manage through established channels.
  9. Perform role-specific duties, including entering orders, admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  10. Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
  11. Integrate evidence-based practices into operations and protocols.
  12. Create an environment encouraging professional growth.
