Qualifications
- Completion of an Associate Degree from a School of Nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky or a current RN multistate license
- CPR certification required; ACLS & PALS within 6 months of hire; specialty certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing leadership for a specific shift and unit/area.
- Utilize specialized care plans and serve as a patient-care innovator.
- Shape exceptional patient journeys daily, leveraging skills and technology.
- Supervise and mentor nursing/support staff during assigned shift.
- Determine staffing levels based on census, patient acuity, and staff abilities.
- Provide direct patient care as needed.
- Evaluate patient care effectiveness and address issues.
- Respond to complaints and manage through established channels.
- Perform role-specific duties, including entering orders, admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Integrate evidence-based practices into operations and protocols.
