Job summary

Accura HealthCare of Onawa is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Charge Nurse to lead the clinical team on one or more units and oversee operations to ensure the highest standard of care in line with laws, regulations, and our organization standards.

This full-time role offers starting pay of $36 per hour with increases based on experience, a 6a-6p shift, and rotating weekends, within a supportive team that values quality, compassion, and partnership in care.

Qualifications

• Hold current RN license with applicable state, without restrictions.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and state regulations governing long-term care.
• Supervisory/management experience in long-term care preferred.
• Capable of performing essential functions with or without accommodations.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Charge Nurse, you will provide nursing leadership to the clinical team assigned to one or more units, and directing the overall operations of the clinical team to ensure the highest degree of care in accordance with all laws, regulations, and organization standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hold current Registered Nurse (RN) license with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific license.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures and the applicable state laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing functions in the long-term care facility.
• Supervisory/management experience in Long Term Care (LTC). (Preferred)
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
