Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Good Samaritan University Hospital Medical Center, a teaching hospital with a level I Trauma Center on Long Island. Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures (sedation, sterile field preservation, ACLS management, documentation).
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for patients and families through safety interventions, emotional support, and education.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab

This position is eligible for a $7,500 sign on bonus, half to be paid after 6 months, half after 1 year.

Job Details

Our Cath Lab RN's

• Manage overall care for patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures. This includes sedation, preservation of the sterile field, ACLS management, documentation, etc.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

What You'll Bring

• Passion for cardiology
• 1+ years of experience in a Procedural or Critical Care Unit (CCU, ICU, CTICU, CVICU, etc.) preferred
• Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
• Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification required from the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required

Salary Range

USD $56.39 - USD $77.34 /Hr.
