Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cath Lab team in Downers Grove, Illinois. This part-time role requires on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays, with 2 shifts per week totaling 0.5 full-time equivalent.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited nursing program, active RN license in the state, and BLS certification. ICU/ED/Cath Lab RN experience is preferred to coordinate patient care during procedures.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab

Where You Will Work:

Level 1 Trauma Center

On call requirement (30 min response time) 7 days/month with weekend commitments.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ICU/ED/Cath Lab RN experience

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
