Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Resource Unit at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. This part-time role supports an internal float pool across observation, med/tele, critical care stepdown, and behavioral health units.

You will coordinate and deliver nursing care, based on the nursing process, with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes. A state RN license and BLS certification are required, with accredited nursing education

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Where You Will Work:

Level 1 trauma center

Internal Float Pool that floats throughout Good Samaritan Hospital including:

• -observation unit (4-5 ratio)
• -5 med/tele units (4-5 ratio)
• -Critical care stepdown (3-4 ratio)
• -Behavioral health unit

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
