Job summary

Premier Health's Miami Valley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This full-time role runs 7A - 5:30P with on-call responsibilities, supporting a fast-paced cardiac care unit.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (or is enrolled in a BSN program) and has an Ohio RN license, with ACLS within 90 days and BLS on hire. At least one year of acute care RN experience, preferably in cardiac care, is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required or must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within 6 months from date in position; completion within 5 years from date in position.
• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License.
• Current AHA BLS required upon hire; ACLS required within 90 days.
• Min. 1 year of acute care hospital RN experience required; preferably in cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Functions in a multi-faceted role and coordinates/directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice.
• Accounts for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and institutional policies; provides physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and families.
