Advocate Health Care is hiring an RN for its Level I Trauma Center in Downers Grove, IL. The role requires on-call coverage with a 30-minute response time, seven days per month including weekends, at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital.

The successful candidate will perform nursing care using evidence-based practice, coordinate patient care, and contribute to a safe and exceptional patient experience across the continuum within a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• Licensed RN in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Experience in ICU/ED/Cath Lab nursing.

We're Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ICU/ED/Cath Lab RN experience

What You'll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
