Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Clinical Resource Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. This position supports an internal float pool across multiple units within the Level I trauma center.

The RN will provide and coordinate compassionate patient care using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and strong communication to maintain a safe environment and positive patient experience across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Resource Unit

Downers Grove, IL

Where You Will Work:

Level 1 trauma center

Internal Float Pool that floats throughout Good Samaritan Hospital including:

• -observation unit (4-5 ratio)
• -5 med/tele units (4-5 ratio)
• -Critical care stepdown (3-4 ratio)
• -Behavioral health unit

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
