Job summary

MedStar Health in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Clinical Nurse for a 29-bed prep and recovery unit on a 12-hour shift schedule. The role involves assessing patient conditions, developing care plans, and delivering skilled, compassionate care across routine to complex needs, with collaboration from the nursing team.

Hiring range is $36.50 to $60.34 per hour. Full-time, part-time and PRN roles available with generous benefits, relocation assistance, tuition support, and possible on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Prior Clinical Cardiovascular or Perioperative Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions and identify actual and potential health concerns.

• 12hr straight shifts with off hour weekend on-call, full-time, part-time and PRN available.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
