MemorialCare Long Beach NICU is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts. The RN will provide safe, cost-effective care to neonates in a high-acuity setting, following the nursing process and MemorialCare standards. A California RN license, BLS CPR/AED, and NRP are required, with a BSN preferred unless NEC waives.

BN/ACEN/CCNE accredited program graduate preferred. Compensation includes a pay range of $50.74–$77.79 per hour, with a $20,000 signing bonus for external hires,

Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Long Beach, CA

Status: Full-time

Shift: Nights 1900-0730 (12hr shifts)

Pay Range*: $50.74/hr - $77.79/hr

Bonus: $20,000 signing bonus available to external hires new to MHS employment, contingent upon satisfaction of employment requirements.

Position Summary

The RN, Registered Nurse12-Hr provides safe, cost-effective patient care through the health experience, according to established standards utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing, for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unitat MemorialCare Long BeachMedical Center.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Work Experience:

• The ideal candidate will have nursing experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in an acute care hospital.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California is required.
• A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support(CPR & AED)certification is also required.
• A current American Heart Association NRP certification
• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is also required unless waived by Nurse Executive Council review.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program unless otherwise approved by the Nursing Executive Council (NEC). Approved accrediting bodies include: ACEN and CCNE others must be approved by NEC
