Job summary

Aurora West Allis Medical Center is seeking a Weekend Program Nights RN for the 7 South Cardiac Telemetry unit. The RN will coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality of care.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure in the state, BLS, and an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. ACLS certification within one year is encouraged as part of professional development.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• BSN preferred.

7 South: Cardiac Telemetry

Aurora West Allis Medical Center, West Allis, Wi 53227

Where You Will Work:

7 South is a 21-bed acute care unit providing care to patients with Cardiac Arrythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, MI, and Peritoneal Dialysis. Master skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation and cardiac telemetry. Leadership champions a supportive learning environment, team collaboration, and patient centric care which optimizes patient outcomes. Our unit RNs become ACLS certified within 1 year and provide response to all in house Code 4 calls. Find your heart with our cardiac patients on 7 South at West Allis.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Newly Licensed RN’s and Experienced RN’s Welcome!
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Bachelor of science in nursing preferred

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
