Qualifications

Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.
Prior patient care experience and comfort with EMR systems (EPIC).
Experience with cardiac post-CTICU patient population preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, intervening early as needed.
Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
Serve as a clinical partner to physicians and providers for coordinated care decisions.
Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately for next care steps.
Document accurately and timely in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.

Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients

To be considered for this RN opportunity

you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. Experience is preferred with the cardiac post-CTICU patient population. This position offers a full-time night schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and every other weekend is required. The schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
