RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Cardio Thoracic ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem day shifts at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. The role supports a dynamic CTICU team with patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

The RN will assess, treat, and educate patients in a fast-paced ICU setting, using EPIC EMR, with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork across disciplines. Competitive hourly pay and a strong benefits culture accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
• BLS certification current (American Heart Association)
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year hospital experience preferred
• Proficient with EMR systems (EPIC)

To be considered for this RN opportunity

you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification required. An Associate Science in Nursing degree is required. Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum 1-year of hospital experience is highly preferred. Must be comfortable with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. Per Diem Day Scheduled as needed with a minimum requirement of 3 shifts a month and will need to work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
