Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System Corporation in La Plata, Maryland seeks a Registered Nurse for the Birthing Center Level 1 on the night shift. Requirements: graduation from an accredited nursing program, BSN, Maryland RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications; NCC‑EFM preferred; 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing.
• BSN Required.
• Currently licensed as an RN in Maryland.
• BLS, ACLS certifications.
• NCC‑EFM preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience.

The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.
