University of Maryland Medical System Corporation is seeking a Clinical Nurse IV for Cardiac Invasive services in La Plata, Maryland. The RN will lead a care team, supervise patient care, and ensure adherence to nursing standards across neonatal to adult-geriatric patients.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and teaching patients and families. Requires a BSN, Maryland RN license, and ACLS/BLS; 1–2 years of experience with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing.
• BSN required.
• Currently licensed as an RN in Maryland.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NCC-EFM preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience.

Clinical Nurse IV - Cardiac Invasive

Full Time - Days

The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

Functioning under general supervision, the Clinical Nurse IV is a highly proficient practitioner possessing an in-depth knowledge of the art and science of nursing. This level clinician initiates, directs and supervises patient care and patient/family teaching. Serves as a professional role model and resource person within the hospital. Patients served may include neonate through adult-geriatric.

• BLS, ACLS certifications
• NCC-EFM preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience.

Compensation

Pay Range: $46.85-$61.90
