HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center in Houston, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab on a PRN basis. You will be part of a compassionate team providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2 years of CCU experience, an accredited nursing degree, and an active TX RN license with BLS/ACLS certifications. On-call participation is expected, with comprehensive benefits available to eligible staff.

• 2 years of Critical Care Nursing experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact.
• Current American Heart Association BLS/ACLS Certification is required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients.

• You will assist with all procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

• You will scrub, circulate and record.

• You will monitor patient status to ensure optimal patient outcome.

• You will be responsible for on-call participation. What qualifications you will need:

• 2 years of Critical Care Nursing experience required.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)

• Current American Heart Association BLS/ACLS Certification is required.
