HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab to scrub, document, and circulate for diagnostic or interventional cardiology procedures. You will assess patient needs and provide age-appropriate care according to department policies and physician orders.

You will participate in interdisciplinary care, educate patients on active involvement in their care, maintain infection control, and ensure compliant documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact license (RN Compact requires Texas RN within 90 days).
• Current BLS and ACLS issued from American Heart Association required.
• 1 year of clinical Cardiac Cath Lab experience as a licensed RN in a hospital required.

• Ensure exact documentation, practice infection control, and follow hospital policies regarding controlled substances.
• Participate in hospital performance initiatives, champion leadership activities, and support organizational vision to improve safety and clinical outcomes.
• Cultivate teamwork, share knowledge across the interdisciplinary team, and identify personal clinical learning needs for management review.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for performing either scrubbing duties, documentation of the procedure on the hemodynamic system, and circulating for diagnostic or interventional cardiology/radiology procedures. Responsibilities also include assessing the needs of the patient, providing age specific patient care based on assessment data, current knowledge/skills which include policies and procedures of the department and physician orders. Accepts assignments that coincide with her/his experience, knowledge, and ability.

• Ensure exact documentation, practice rigorous infection control, and strictly follow all laws, regulations, and hospital policies regarding controlled substances.
• Participate actively in hospital performance initiatives, champion leadership activities, and support organizational vision to improve overall safety and clinical outcomes.
• Cultivate teamwork, share specialized knowledge across the interdisciplinary team, and proactively identify personal clinical learning needs to present to management.

What qualifications you will need:
