Wilson Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to cover Cath Lab, Pre & Post Cath Holding, and Cardiology Stress Testing. The role is in-person with varied days, rotating call, and holidays; requires the ability to respond within 30 minutes.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing, an active RN license in North Carolina, and BCLS/ACLS as required. A commitment bonus of $20,000 is offered along with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BCLS required within one week of hire; ACLS required within six months of hire.
• PALS preferred.
• One year of Cath Lab, Critical Care, ED, or Endo experience preferred.
• Ability to complete Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provides safe, age-appropriate care during pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery phases.
• Functions as Circulating RN in the Cath Lab and supports Cardiology Stress Testing.
• Administers medications, performs clinical treatments, and documents care thoroughly.
• Communicates patient condition clearly to physicians, care teams, patients, and families.

What We’re Looking For

A compassionate nurse with strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required within one week of hire
• ACLS required within six months of hire
• PALS preferred
• Handle With Care preferred
• Ability to complete Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire
• One year of experience preferred (Cath Lab, Critical Care, ED, or Endo experience all considered relevant)
