Registered Nurse (RN), Behavioral Medicine Clinical Coordinator
Job Type: Full-time | 3p-11:30p with EOW and Holidays

Department/Unit Summary

The Adult Psychiatric Unit is a 29-bed locked unit providing comprehensive mental health care to individuals aged 18-59. Patients must be medically stable for admission and have a primary DSM 5 diagnosis. Safety practices include 15-minute safety checks and staff monitoring during meals and visiting hours. Nursing care, daily psychiatric assessments, therapy, and medication management are provided to meet the needs of the adult patient population. The nurses work 12-hour shifts (7A & 7P) with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

You’ll impact patient journeys by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator, leveraging your skills and our technology to enhance patient wellbeing.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • BSN or commitment to acquire within 5 years.
  • Minimum of two years in acute care.
  • Managerial experience preferred.
